Individual Psychotherapy

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do, are in harmony.”
—Mahatma Ghandi

Individual therapy can be a beneficial addition to your life by providing support, opening new doors of understanding and releasing you from a ‘stuck’ place. You may be unsure where to begin, simply recognizing that you are filled with a sense of general unhappiness. Maybe it is a big life event, a deep persistent depression or a difficult life transition that propels you on this search. On the other hand, you may be satisfied with your life and want to find ways to deepen your personal growth, increasing fulfillment in your personal and professional life.

Building a meaningful therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my approach. A healthy therapy relationship opens our eyes to experience life in new and profound ways. Many times our life transitions will throw us off balance. It can be the ending of a relationship, daily anxiety, depression, a birth and the changes it brings, career struggles, parenting, recovering from a loss in our lives or struggling with a decision.  Psychotherapy can help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself so you can clearly identify your needs, experience relief from unwanted symptoms, and ultimately feel more balanced and whole.

Individual Therapy can help with various issues such as:

  • Anxiety and Stress
  • Depression
  • Grief and Loss
  • Postpartum Anxiety and Depression
  • Parenting
  • Preoccupation with Food, Body and Weight
  • Trauma recovery
  • Relationship Difficulties/Marital struggles
  • Separation/Divorce
  • Sex and Intimacy
